Day 22

No mileage today.

Got up this morning and daughter-in-law was getting ready for work. Grand daughter was getting ready for school. Grand Son just up, Son got up.

Spending the day with Son and Grand Son and friend from Phoenix.

We went to lunch but took a few pictures before leaving.

Grand Son not ready for motorcycles yet.



We went to Memphis BBQ for lunch just off base here at Nellis. It of course was filled with Air Force personnel. Lunch was good. Our friend from Phoenix was leaving from the restaurant for Phoenix. He said that it looked like it was already raining up north. He wanted to beat the rain out of Nevada. We received a call later and he had not beaten the rain. It if fact beat him up some out on the highway in the Kingman area. He got soaked. But then motorcycle riders are used to a little discomfort once and a while. It is part of being out on the road.

Son and wife went out for dinner while Grandpa was home with the kids. Eat franks and beans with some yummy macaroni and cheese for supper. Cleaned up dishes and played with Grand Son several board games.

Son and wife came home. Chatted for a while. Then Grandpa had to go to bed because he was beat from all the playing today.

Planning on leaving Saturday morning and will be looking at the maps for a route to the Death Valley area.
