Woke up at 7:30 am after a wonderful nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Sister-in-law made delicious breakfast for me before packing up and departing Mullins, SC. Gave her two hugs good bye and hit the road.
Heading towards Florence from Mullins to US 95, about 52 degrees this morning. Wearing leather jacket under my body armor yellow Tour Master jacket. Nice dry day. Great!
Rode US 95 around Florence to pick up US 20.

Stopped in Augusta at Denny's adjacent to the Flying J Station.

Denny's Restaurant was a really a great experience today. The hostess placed me in the back meeting room. They had WiFi available and it worked flawlessly. Managed to do email, blog posting and other electronics stuffs. From the Senior's menu I ordered grilled cheese with tomatoes and fries. The food was great. I will be stopping at more Denny's along the way.

Flying J station was a total different story. The first pump I stopped at did not have a visible LCD screen. So I could not use it but moved to another island, which were all full of autos. I was waiting for 5-10 minutes for  someone to leave but took notice no one was pumping gas. I wonder how they make any money? I went across the street to Exxon and paid more for gas but there was no line. Will probably not want to visit a Flying J again.

I had not thought that I would make Atlanta today but the ride was very nice out in the country on US 20. Traffic was rather light. The bike was running like a champion. I had on enough to keep me comfortable while the temps were around 66 degrees.

At exit 75 I took GA 124 North to Lawrenceville. Called Sister-in-law for directions to their house and arrived around 6:20 pm. Brother-in-law says I am the first from our family to visit here from Pennsylvania. Went inside and relaxed with a few brews to do away with the road dust in the throat.
Sat around until midnight chatting. Showered earlier and felt very comfortable in the nice bed waiting on me.
